| pempek. palembang's big claim to fame. it's basically fish mixed with flour and steamed or deep fried and sometimes they put stuff in it and you eat it with a sauce. it's not bad but it's not the most incredible thing you've ever eaten. but palembang is really proud of it so we eat it. |
