7:30am after a pretty good night's rest, i couldn't sleep anymore and got up to wander around. it was cold, rainy and foggy. the fog really did look like an enormous felt blanket. it was so thick you couldn't see past it at all. it was the first time in almost seven months that i stood outside and was cold. i bundled up in a sweater and scarf and walked up to the restaurant for some coffee and part of a boiled egg. i have been eating too many boiled eggs but they are just so readily available and so easy to make and take for a girl on the go. i think they are making me fat and probably raising my cholesterol. i didn't have one today so i feel good about that. after coffee i met up with the rest of the sleepyheads and we got padang for breakfast and waited for the driver to pick us up at eleven.
